The 100 Season 2

It's been 97 years since the Earth was devastated by a nuclear apocalypse. When Earth was lost, the surviving inhabitants aboard the 12 international space stations linked those stations together and repurposed them as an orbiting Ark. But three generations later, faced with depleted resources, the leaders of the Ark exiled 100 juvenile prisoners to the Earth's surface to discover whether it's habitable. Among these exiles was Clarke, the teenage daughter of the Ark's chief medical officer, Dr. Abby Griffin; the resourceful Finn Collins; the brother/sister duo of Bellamy and Octavia Blake, whose illegal sibling status means they'll do anything to stay together; and nerdy but charming friends Jasper Jordan and Monty Green. Unable to contact the survivors on the planet below, the Ark's leaders, including Clarke's mother, the Chancellor Jaha and his pragmatic second in command, Marcus Kane, are faced with life-and-death decisions about the surviving remnant on the dying Ark. For the 100 on Earth, however, the alien planet they are just getting to know is a mysterious realm that can be paradise one moment, and lethal the next. Finding a way to transcend their differences, they unite to take a defensive stand against a wildly changed Earth that's primitive, intense and teeming with unseen threats and hidden mysteries.
