From director Peter Hyams, this fantasy comedy about a husband and wife who are transported into their television set stars John Ritter, Pam Dawber, Jeffrey Jones, Eugene Levy, and rap artists Salt 'N' Pepa. Suburban American couple Roy and Helen Knable are having marital problems, including the fact that Roy watches way too much television. When he agrees to the ultimate satellite TV system, Roy doesn't realize that he's just signed away his soul, and Roy and Helen are sucked into their own television set, where they endure a gauntlet of hellish television shows such as "Northern Overexposure" and "I Love Lucifer." It's up to the couple's kids to save them. Among the inspired parodies is an original cartoon short by Looney Tunes legend Chuck Jones.
