​Lord of the Rings' Elijah Wood and Oscar® winner Robin Williams reprise their animated roles in this sequel to the Academy Award®-winning blockbuster that snowballed a global box-office north of $375 million. Once again, written and directed by acclaimed Aussie filmmaker George Miller (Babe, Mad Max films), the latest chapter of the penguin tale returns audiences to the magnificent landscape of Antarctica, reuniting us with the world's most famous tap-dancing penguin, Mumble (Wood), the love of his life, Gloria, and their old friends Ramon and Lovelace (Williams). Mumble and Gloria now have a son of their own, Erik (E.G. Daly), who is struggling to find his own talents in the colony. But new dangers are threatening the penguin nation, and it's going to take everyone working (and dancing) together to save them. Academy Award® winner Matt Damon (Good Will Hunting, Invictus), box-office megastar Brad Pitt, Modern Family's Sofia Vergara, Emmy® winner Hank Azaria (The Simpsons), Golden Globe winner Anthony LaPaglia (Without a Trace) and musicians Common and Pink round out the voice cast on the Antarctic ice in the unforgettable story of "a little penguin that could" by believing in himself and standing by his friends.
